This English Heritage Grade II Listed charming, oak beamed cottage has been lovingly restored and furnished to a very high standard to provide a warm and welcoming holiday or short break retreat. Guests can enjoy the sun trap and well stocked courtyard garden.
Rutland Water, along with the surrounding countryside and villages, all provide a beautiful back drop for sailing, water sports, fishing, cycling, bird watching, golf and walking. Historic Stamford including magnificent Burghley House is an easy 20 minute drive away. Our beautiful unspolied area also makes a great base for visiting many other popular tourist locations such as Cambridge and Lincoln, which are only approximately a 1 hour drive away.
Sticky End is located in the bustling conservation village of Cottesmore, near Oakham,on the north side of Rutland Water and is within a few minutes walk of the Sun Inn pub, the village shop and a traditional Fish & Chip Shop.
